Is it true that Apple claims the life of the battery is 18 months?

I also heard the same things but it depends on your usage

I think 18 months is sufficient enough for those who have good care on their ipods

I bought my ipod several months ago and so far no problem with batteries. I might agree that 18 months are the best life for its batteries
