Nano problem

I was over at a friends house and we plugged my iPod Nano into his computer because one of our friends installed the software onto his computer. Now he had to restart his computer with the iPod still plugged in. But it was still working after that but after we safely removed the hardware it started flashing the apple icon over and over again. So does anyone know what I do?

Try to reset it push the hold button over than back then push th menu and select at the time until it goes off. Then try it
