FLV to ipod

My friend ask me about this. He downloaded from youtube a video with flv format. But, what is the best way to ensure that it can be watched in ipod? i have not try this before so i cannot give the answer other than suggesting him to download from www.mediaconverter.org

I actually have a question related to this as well. What opens FLV format on a computer? I’ve never been able to open it…
